I was born and bred in Manchester and am a proud Manc. Well actually I am officially a Salfordian but to me that’s interchangeable. Heresy to some I know! I really can’t imagine living anywhere else. The city centre is constantly changing. On a night out I now have a rule that I must try at least one new bar, from the many that are forever popping up. Its a hard job but someone has to do it. 🙂

So many more couples are choosing to get married in the centre of Manchester now. it’s clear to see why. The architecture is fantastic. The atmosphere is buzzy and fresh. The venues are spectacular.

From the Gothic splendour of Manchester town hall. To the quirky decadence of Hotel Gotham. The contemporary chic of the Lowry Hotel and modern comfort of the V&A Marriott.

Just outside of Manchester is the long established city of Salford. Salfordians will be quick to point out that Salford was around LONG before Manchester,. It’s a touch subject. Hey that’s in the past. Now the two cities blur together to form a formidable Northern powerhouse. Salford has its own gorgeous wedding venues. The fabulous Lowry theatre in the heart of Media City, along with the Imperial War Museum. The new kid on the block-the Ainscow hotel. Or why not opt for Tudor luxury at the historic Ordsall Hall.

Whether you are after a city centre venue, a wedding in the suburbs or something historic, Manchester and Salford have it in spades.

I’ve featured a few of my favourite Manchester and Salford wedding venues in my galleries to give you an idea of my work. If you would like to book me to photograph your wedding, please do so here. Alternatively, if you would like to chat more about your wedding, please do not hesitate to contact me.
