This page contains my wedding portfolio of some of my recent work in the North West.
My work is a blend of fashion inspired images, documentary style photography and classic yet fun group shots.
My portfolio illustrates these different genres. Portraying emotion, love, anticipation and laughter. Capturing glamour, romance, style, excitement, silliness, nervousness.
My style relies on great organisational skills, so that couples can spend as much time with family and friends on their wedding day, not with me.
Group shots will be done in stages, rather than all at once. 5 minutes with the bride’s family after the ceremony. Then I’ll send you off for a drink. A few minutes at a different location with the groom’s family. Go and have some canapes. 10 minutes taking you off on your own with a glass of bubbly around your venue. Off to the wedding breakfast. Groups shots with the bridal party and friends after the wedding breakfast, when everyone is a bit more “relaxed”, for some fun, informal images. Then 5 minutes of the two of you for some evening shots before cake cutting and first dance. And lots of unobtrusive documentary style photography in between, when you won’t even notice I’m there.
I am prepared for your wedding photos whatever the British weather throws at us. I will scope out your venue to find fabulous photo locations come rain or shine.
I have a brilliant collection of umbrellas, (it’s a bit of an addiction), that I bring with me to every wedding. They are likely to appear on your photos even if it doesn’t rain. That’s how gorgeous they are.
Please have a look at my wedding portfolio galleries to see how this works.
